Dr. Hansen was born and raised in Mesa and is excited to get back to his roots.
While working as a dental assistant during his undergraduate studies, he saw dentistry as the perfect opportunity to blend his love for all things technical and scientific with his desire to help people.
After receiving a degree in biomedical engineering from Arizona State University, he moved to Cleveland, OH. He obtained his DMD from the prestigious Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine.

What do you do outside of the office?
I enjoy rock climbing, reading books, playing racquetball and chess, and playing music. I also have my sights set on completing a 140.6 (full) Ironman – I’ve already done a half one!
What was the best day of your life? Why?
The best day of my life is actually Thanksgiving. It’s a day to spend time with family, enjoy great food, and appreciate anything and everything. What more could you want out of a day?
What's an interesting fact about yourself?
I toured the country one summer with Drum Corps International’s “The Academy.” It’s a professional marching band, where you travel to a new city and state every day.
Who is your hero? Why?
Abraham Lincoln! He was the leader this country needed during times of great turmoil.
